Area activities

One can take part in exciting activities like those of water sports, scuba diving and rock-climbing. This is not to say that one cannot partake in more relaxing activities. The latter include fishing, going for walks around Xlendi’s scenic areas or simply unwinding at the bay area and enjoying the sun. Of course nothing is keeping you from enjoying other locations of Gozo, or even visiting the island of Comino. Those fascinating with culture will find that Gozo has a history and heritage of its own, making sight-seeing another potential activity. Check in times

Earlier check in is possible if the room is available, but officially any time from 2.00 pm onwards.

Driving directions

The first step involves getting to Xlendi bay via Victoria (not Munxar). Once you arrive at the parking area, keep to the left side of the bay. As you approach Xlendi bay, you will go down a slight hill and pass a church on your right side. Once you reach the parking area, keep to the left side of the bay. Eventually you will see the St Andrew`s dive shop. Proceed up that hill and go past the Cima and Terrazzo restaurants. As you pass these two Restaurants turn to the street on the left side, proceed up the Hill and turn right on the first road (Tower street). Once you make the right turn, you will see San Antonio Guest House on your very right side.

Airports

Crossing the islands of Malta and Gozo involves boarding a ferry. There is an express bus (X1) connecting the airport to the port from which this ferry departs (Cirkewwa). The express bus, X1, takes about 70 minutes to make its voyage, but is subject to traffic conditions. We also offer an excellent taxi service as an alternative to public transport. The taxi from the airport to the port at Cirkewwa will cost € 25.00 for 1 to 3 people and € 30.00 bus for 4 - 8 people. You are kindly requested to pay the driver directly. On Gozo, the taxi from the port to your accommodation will cost €16.00 for 1 - 3 people and €18.00 for 4 - 8 people. These are day time rates, during the nights rates will be a bit more. The ferry has a regular schedule and operates on a 24 hour basis. Once you arrive at the Mgarr harbour on Gozo, there will be a bus (numbered 301) outside the terminal waiting to make a trip to Victoria. This bus should eventually travel from Victoria to Xlendi bay. Once you board the bus at the Mgarr harbour, ask the bus driver if the bus 301 (Mgarr to Victoria) will change to the 306 (Victoria to Xlendi). www.publictransport.com.mt/gozo-routes. Advise the bus driver from Victoria to Xlendi to stop you "Qsajjem Bus Stop" This is pronounced "Sayyem". Then walk down 150 meters and turn on the first road on your left side. This is Tower street. San Antonio Guest House is surrounded by tree and we are on the street corner.

Other transport

On making a Request / Reservation / Booking you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. When in doubt of any of these conditions, please ask for clarifications.

On making a reservation is not a confirmation of the booking, this is a booking request still needs to be accepted and confirm by Club Gozo. 

Cancellation Policy: Refund on deposits is given if a reservation is cancelled prior to 15 days before the arrival date.  No refunds after 15 days.

Maid Service: The guest house maid service is done every other day.

Linen and Towels: Linen and towels are provided free of charge and for use within the premises only. In the guest house the towels are changed every other day and linen once a week.

Deposit Policy: A deposit maybe requested at booking stage.

Balance of Bill: The balance is to be paid one day after arrival. Payment to be made at San Antonio Guest House between the hours of 9:30am and 12:00pm daily.

Damage Repair: Clients / Guests are financially responsible for the costs of repairing any damage that occurs while Clients / Guests are occupying the unit. Clients / Guests specifically acknowledge that Club Gozo has the right to charge Clients / Guests credit card for any such damage.

Parties: Strictly no parties of any kind on the property without the written consent of Club Gozo.

Minimum Letting Period: There is a minimum letting period of four nights

Rental Period: Clients / Guests may not shorten there holiday stay, Club Gozo reserves the right to charge for the full rental period as agree at the time of the reservation / bookings.

Pets: Sorry - no pets allowed (no matter the size).

Smoking: All accommodations are non-smoking.

Arrival: Check in after 3:00pm. Earlier check-in is possible if the room is available. In the event that the Clients / Guests arrive later than the stipulated time, clients must advise us beforehand with adequate notice of time of arrival.

Departure: Check out at 10:30am

Number of Clients / Guests: Only those people registered and paying guests with “Club Gozo” may use the property. The number of Clients / Guests in the property at any point in time of the holiday cannot exceed the maximum number of people agreed at the time of the reservation.

Law and Jurisdiction Clause: In the event of controversies arising from the booking, the Maltese Law Court only can deal with the matter and Maltese law only applies. By agreeing to making a booking / reservation or authorizing the deposit payment stipulated there to be charged to your credit card, there by making the booking, this implies that “Club Gozo’s” General Terms and Conditions of Letting have been understood and have been accepted without reserve and without exception. If any of the conditions of this contract have become invalid or were invalid or if in this contract there should be a gap, the other conditions cannot be contested.
